In the latest episode of their YouTube video series “Hiroshi Q&A”, CyberConnect2 president and CEO, Hiroshi Matsuyama revealed that they are currently developing a new anime game similar to the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm series.
In the episode, Matsuyama answered two questions. The first was the possibility of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 coming to Nintendo Switch. To answer this question, Matsuyama revealed that there is a possibility that the game will launch for Nintendo Switch, but fans will have to relay their passion to Bandai Namco Entertainment, the publisher of the series. The Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy (1, 2, and 3) is already available on Nintendo Switch.
The second and final question asked, “If you were to make another anime game series similar to the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm series, what anime would it be?” To this, Matsuyama teased “I can’t answer that. The reason being, we already have an idea. And have begun developing it.”
Matsuyama has yet to reveal what the new anime game project will be, but he revealed that “when the timing is right, I’m sure the new project we are working on will be announced.”
